How Many Volunteers are Needed Each Day?
We require between 2 & 3 volunteers each day that we are open.
We prefer that volunteers join a team, if possible, and volunteer to help at least one day per month. If you don't have enough people in your group to make a team, we can try to put you on one.

What Kind of Time Commitment is Involved?
You can volunteer for as little as one hour per month. Some of our volunteers just come during the lunch hour to wait on tables.
For those who are available during business hours, a shift of three hours (11:00am - 2:00pm) would be appreciated.
Possible Shifts:1 hour = 12:00 - 1:00pm
2 hour = 11:00 - 1:00pm or
12:00 - 2:00pm
3 hour = 11:00 - 2:00pm
Tasks:
Pick up food - Between
11:00-11:30am
Preparation - 11:15am
Serving/Waiter - 12:00pm
Clean Up - 1:00pm
What Kind of Volunteer Help is Needed?
Volunteers are required for the following tasks:
- One person is needed to pick up the food from the restaurant
- Open kitchen and prepare coffee & juice. Set out supplies
- Serve meals to guests, offer refreshments, wait on tables
- Wash tables, clean floors and bathrooms
- Help with fund raising events
- Recruit sponsors / donors
Sign Up As A Team
We welcome teams from any business, organization, church or club to sign up as volunteers at the soup kitchen.
The ideal team is 3 members, but even if you only have 2 members, we can fill in the extra spots with other individuals who have signed up.
